- Variants of models: The four models – Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS – bring different RAM (12-16GB) and storage (256GB to 1TB) configurations.

- Production delays: Due to high demand for the Kirin 9020 chip and logistical constraints, availability may be limited, which has led to pre-orders selling out quickly.
- Global availability: A global version is not yet confirmed. The models are primarily intended for the Chinese market.
- Environmental responsibility: Huawei emphasizes efforts to produce chips and software locally, which is a response to US sanctions. The Mate 70 shows the company's commitment to self-sufficiency.
