Company Belkin, a leading consumer electronics brand for more than 40 years, has introduced new products that underscore Belkin's design excellence, commitment to quality and commitment to creating environmentally responsible products.
Made more responsibly from up to 90% recycled materials
Two years ago, Belkin announced the decision to use 72-75% recycled materials (PCR) in its products. Since then, it has applied this commitment to more than 359 products and saved 432 tons of primary plastics by using recycled PCR materials.
By 2025, a number of Belkin's most popular chargers and cables will use eco-friendly product casing materials (85-90% PCR plastics) in line with the company's commitment to more responsible manufacturing practices. The new products will be Global Recycling Standard certified and sold in plastic-free packaging. It is estimated that this initiative will reduce CO2 eq emissions by up to 84,8% thanks to the ecological materials used in these products.
The following products will be the first to be supplied with recycled eco-plastics (85-90% from PCR plastics) from Q2 2025, further products will be introduced during 2025:
- Dual USB-C wall charger (45W and 65W)
- GaN wall charger with replaceable terminals (75W and 100W)
- Wireless charger with Qi2 (15 W)
- Charging cables
