  • Powerful chipset MediaTek Dimensity The 7400 can handle even more demanding games and multitasking
  • 5500 mAh battery with 100W charging (zero to 100% in less than 45 minutes)
  • 6,77” AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+

Under the hood, the Vivo V50e beats MediaTek Dimensity 7400, a chipset built on a modern 4nm process. What does this mean in practice? The phone can easily handle common applications, social networks, and thanks to the powerful Cortex-A78 cores, it can handle even more demanding games. And when we add LPDDR5 RAM (up to 12 GB) and UFS 3.1 storage, it is clear that speed will not be a problem.

AMOLED display that pleases the eyes

Display? 6,77 inches, AMOLED, 120Hz and HDR10+ support. Translated into everyday language – colors are beautiful, black is really black and thanks to the high brightness (up to 4500 nits) you can see it even in direct sunlight. This is something that anyone who spends hours on their phone, whether watching videos, playing games or scrolling through Instagram, will appreciate.

The main 50MP camera with optical stabilization (OIS) promises decent photos even in low light, the second 12MP ultraThe wide-angle lens will help you take landscapes or group photos. There's a 16MP front camera for selfies, don't expect miracles, but it's more than enough for Instagram.

5500mAh battery and 100W fast charging? That's something we don't often see from competitors in this price range. Vivo promises that you can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in less than 45 minutes. And if you're the type of person who goes to bed at night with 5% battery, this will be your savior.

The phone of course supports 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6 are also included. The fingerprint reader is cleverly hidden under the display and facial recognition works quite reliably.

Design and durability

The phone is available in two colors, gray and green. Don't expect a metal construction, but the matte finish means you won't have the phone constantly covered in smudges. And thanks to its IP64 rating, it can handle a few showers of rain.

If you're looking for a phone at a reasonable price, with a decent battery, fast charging, and a beautiful AMOLED display, the Vivo V50e is definitely one of the favorites. The downside? It doesn't have a microSD card slot and the cameras aren't exactly top-notch. But if you're not a demanding photographer, it'll be a great everyday companion.
