Whether you're a tech enthusiast or just want your phone to run safely and reliably, we know how frustrating it can be to wait for an update. We're even more excited to announce that Infinix is really listening to its users and is preparing Android 15 on its own XOS 15 superstructure for the second quarter of this year. And no, this is not a gimmick, this is a full-fledged update with significant new features.
When will the update arrive?
Apparently, it will not be later than June 2025. The first waves of updates will start in April and May. If you own a newer model, there is a good chance that you will be among the first to receive the update. The manufacturer is clearly making sure that everything runs smoothly, without unnecessary errors.
So far, it looks like the following series will receive Android 15 via XOS 15:
- Infinix Note: specifically the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Pro+ 5G models.
- Infinix Zero: including Zero 40 and Zero Flip.
- Infinix GT: GT 20 Pro model confirmed.
- XPad series: mainly XPad X1101 and X1101B tablets.
If you have one of these phones, it's a good reason to be happy. On the other hand, according to available reports, the HOT or SMART series are not yet on the list, which is disappointing, but partly understandable from a hardware perspective.

There are many new features, and many of them can actually protect you or simplify your everyday life:
- Offline "Find My Device": You can find your lost mobile phone even without internet.
- Anti-theft lock: The phone will lock if there is any suspicious movement or SIM change.
- Private space: a separate and protected environment for apps and photos you don't want to show anyone.
- Better performance and battery saving: Yes, the manufacturer focused on details here too.
Is this important to you?
Yes, of course. It's not just "another Android number". Android 15 is a huge step forward in terms of security and privacy. If you use your phone not only for gaming or taking photos, but also for work, banking or daily news, then believe me, these new features are really worth having.
