At first glance, the Honor X70i looks very mature. A slim body, elegant workmanship and discreet colors variaWell, this is no plastic compromise. On the back you'll find a stylish camera module that's not over the top, but it certainly doesn't stand out. Whether you choose classic black or a fresh light blue, the phone feels more premium in your hand than you'd expect given the price.
The display is a chapter in itself. The 6,7-inch panel offers FHD+ resolution and AMOLED technology, so colors are beautifully vivid, blacks are truly black, and brightness reaches up to 2000 nits, ideal even in direct sunlight. Plus, it has a 90Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling or playing games pleasantly smooth. In short, a joy to look at.

Jam-free performance
Inside the phone you will find a chip MediaTek Dimensity The 7025, which may not be the absolute top of the line, but it certainly won't disappoint. Combined with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage (yes, that much!) you have more than enough power for everyday use, multitasking, and occasional gaming. All without having to keep an eye on what's running in the background.
The 6000mAh battery is one of the main draws. Honor has set the bar high here. Whether you spend all day on your phone for work, social media or YouTube, this device will easily last you up to two days. And when you run out of juice, the 35W fast charging will get you back in the game in no time.

The rear pair of cameras with the main 50Mpx sensor can handle solid pictures in good light. Don't expect miracles at night, but it's perfectly fine for daytime photography, portraits or food photos for Instagram. The front 8Mpx selfie camera is hidden in the display hole and is more than enough for video calls or quick selfies.
Honor has not forgotten about modern technologies either. You have 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and of course USB-C. The fingerprint reader is located under the display and works reliably. There is also basic water and dust resistance (IP64), which is definitely worth considering at this price tag.

Verdict? A surprisingly good buy
The Honor X70i may not impress you with its technical specifications at first glance, but the more you use it, the more you'll love it. It offers a perfectly balanced package - durability, display, performance and style all in one. If you're looking for a new phone under $250 (or around 6 CZK), it's definitely worth considering.
