This is not the first time that Vivo has tried to offer a lighter version of its flagship. And if the latest reports are to be believed, the X200 FE will be here soon. It should be a model that retains the best of the X200 series, but at the same time be more accessible to a wider audience. And that makes sense, not everyone wants or can afford a premium model, but at the same time they don't want to make too many compromises. Vivo is clearly listening.
What can we expect?
No official confirmation yet, but according to leaks from foreign websites, especially Xiaomiui.net and Notebookcheck, a rather interesting picture is emerging. There was talk of a display with a resolution of 1.5K or even 2K, either flat or curved. variant, probably depending on the specific version of the phone. So the choice would not only be in color or storage, but also in the shape of the display, which is unexpected but welcome at this price level.
Looks like Vivo X200 FE for India will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini (tentative name), scheduled to launch in May in China.
Vivo S30 Pro Mini specs:
– 6.31-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz flat screen
– Dimensity 9400e (likely modified/rebranded version of Dimensity 9300+)… pic.twitter.com/qJpk3G8uS9—Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) April 25, 2025
If the X200 FE follows on from the classic X200, it could retain the Dimensity processor, specifically the Dimensity 9400, which is one of MediaTek's best. That would mean very decent performance that could handle everything from more demanding applications to photography, multitasking, or gaming.
If Vivo compromises a bit on performance in favor of price, we expect MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, which would still be more than enough for everyday use.
The X200 series is known for its beautiful displays, vivid colors, high brightness, good readability outdoors and at night. The X200 FE is expected to maintain this standard. There is a lot of talk about an LTPO OLED panel, which would mean smooth scrolling and a solid video viewing experience.

It's not known for sure yet, but if the X200 FE inherits a triple-lens setup with a 50MP main sensor, like the regular X200, it would be a win. Vivo cares about photos and can offer very solid results even in the mid-range, especially during the day, but also in night modes.
When will we see it?
We are still in the speculation zone here. Some sources talk about mid-2025, others about a later date. But since Vivo is already preparing other models in the X200 series, it is not excluded that the X200 FE will be part of the summer wave. If the informationmace confirms, an official announcement could come any week.
