Google Home launches new version of automation editor, both for Android and iOS devices iOSBut it's not just a new look coming, Google is also sending brand new features to its app. These will make it even easier to control your smart home and allow you to do various more complex automations.

The advantage of the update is that Google Home will turn it into a truly smart home. You will no longer have to control everything step by step or based on simple automations. Thanks to complex scenarios, individual steps can be linked together. This way, you can set exactly when to turn off the speaker, turn on the kettle, and turn off the light bulb. All of this can follow in exact sequence. And you don't even have to get up from the couch – or maybe just to pour that coffee.

The Home app is also getting a lot of new default triggers. A typical example is given by Google itself – once the temperature in your home reaches a certain preset value, it will start cooling or turn off the heating. And there are a lot of such options. Everything will now be easier, faster and more convenient in Google Home.

The changes are being rolled out gradually, so if the new automation editor hasn't reached you yet, don't worry. The update should arrive very soon and you just need to download it. Then you can start trying out what new features your smart home can now do and what improvements Google has made. Apparently, there's a lot of them. And it's no wonder, because the competition in the smart home field is growing rapidly and the Mountain View giant has been lagging behind in many ways.
