Smartphone manufacturers are finding it increasingly difficult. In order not to lose users, they have to come out with new models year after year. However, many are disappointed that they are not much different from each other and are more about cosmetic changes and an attempt to extract more money from our wallets. That is why various experiments and novel concepts are being created. One of them has now been introduced by HMD, the company behind Nokia models.
HMD is a relatively new brand that produces both smartphones and push-button phones. It is most famous for its Nokia models, and its new phones include the pink HMD Barbie PhoneNow the company has introduced a brand new model on social media, this time in blue. We don't know its name yet, but the manufacturer says it will be first hybrid phone.
What does the term hybrid phone mean? The teaser released suggests that it should be a mobile phone with touch screen, but also with several classic buttons. But not with a physical QWERTY keyboard, as we are used to, for example, from BlackBerryIt is clear from the image that we will see a compact device with a small touchscreen.
A leaker with the nickname smashx_60 has posted more images on X, in which he only announces the diagonal 3,2 inches. On the back, you can see a circular camera module with a single lens and a flash. There should be a headphone jack in the form of 3,5 mm jack. The front camera is clearly visible on the display and video calling support is obvious. It should not be missing fast charger, but its performance is still unknown. Just as we don't know anything about the battery capacity. However, there is some support 4G.

Hybrid phone from HMD is very similar Nokia N9 and it will quite possibly have a different design, following the example of the old touch-screen Nokias an operating system resembling Symbian. So instead of the modern and globally widespread Android 15, respectively Android 16 Here we will probably find a unique operating system. Which many other manufacturers, including Amazon, have already tried and usually failed miserably. HMD has used various platforms in the past, but none of them really caught on.
It is not clear whether this mobile phone will reach the global market. HMD currently announces it as "India's first ever hybrid phone"So we'll be surprised by what it will be about and whether it will eventually reach for Android, which would attract many more users.
