Notifications can be displayed on mobile screens in different ways. Each manufacturer has its own way of doing this, but most Android phones adopt the main one set by Google. The situation is completely different on iPhonewhich have the so-called Dynamic IslandAnd Xiaomi decided to introduce something similar with the HyperOS 3 update – HyperIsland.
This interactive panel is displayed directly around the front camera area and it not only looks interesting, but is also very practical. It contains all the important informationmacyes, but not only in miniin the form of a small pill. Notification as needed they increase, shrink and scroll across the mobile screen. HyperIsland is so interactive element, which completely changes how notifications work.
This is a very smart move from Xiaomi that will simplify multitasking and allow you to continue what you were doing without notifications popping up in any way that would be disruptive. At first glance, it might seem like it's just a copies Dynamic Island od Applu, but that's not the case. Xiaomi borrowed the idea Applu, but modified and improved it in its own way. So it seems that HyperIsland will be even better than Dynamic Island.
A disadvantage iPhones namely, that with Dynamic IslandYou can't interact with it much. It shows notifications, but that's about it. On Xiaomi phones, on the other hand, you can tap on each notification click, enlarge and transform in a floating window. So for example, to reply to a received message you don't have to quit the game or pause the video you're currently playingThis creates a de facto additional work surface above the existing one, which will make many activities easier and faster. Compared to the passive Dynamic Island This sounds like the dream of every iPhone owner.
Xiaomi will also add its own features to HyperIsland artificial intelligence. And it is not a problem to display two different activities in parallel on a single mobile screen. The disadvantage compared to Applu but is that HyperIsland not all owners of Xiaomi phones will receive. It will come with a superstructure HyperOS 3, but it will not appear on all models. Cheaper mobiles, which are inherently slower, will be deprived of it, because it would not work properly on them - or rather, it would not work as quickly and smoothly. Therefore, it is intended only for mid-range and higher-end mobiles.
