Huawei officially launched four new models of the Mate 80 series: the basic Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max and the premium Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design. All run on HarmonyOS 6, feature powerful Kirin chipsets, and enhanced protection including second-generation Kunlun Glass and IP68/IP69 water resistance.
Mate 80 od Huawei It offers a 6,75″ OLED display (LTPO, 1–120 Hz), a Kirin 9020 chip and a 5750 mAh battery with 66W charging. It also features a triple rear camera including a 50MP ultra-wide zoom module. Outdoor mode supports navigation, maps and satellite communication.
Huawei Mate 80 Pro adds a more powerful Kirin 9030/9030 Pro, faster 100W charging, and a better 48MP macro telephoto lens. It can handle up to 13 days of operation in extreme endurance mode.
Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max It has a 6,9″ OLED display and a massive 6000mAh battery. It is equipped with a quad camera (including a 50MP super telephoto lens) and supports satellite calling via the Beidou and Tiantong systems. Plus, it can handle up to 14 days in extreme power saving mode.
The absolute peak is formed by Huawei Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design with a luxurious titanium frame, 20GB RAM, 1TB storage and AI features such as dynamic portraits, emotion recognition or the virtual assistant Xiaoyi.
All models in this series Huawei support dual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and USB-C. There are also AI tools for one-click video, gimbal tracking and cross-device transfers.
Sales start on November 28th in China. Prices start at 4,699 yuan (approx. 660 USD) and climb up to 12,999 yuan (about $1,830) for the top model with 1 TB of memory.
