Google has officially revealed the Pixel 10a. The basic model of its new Pixel 10 series has been revealed in a video teaser, which is intended to entice its launch. And although at first glance it is very similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 9a, there is one small but important difference. Google has managed to give it a completely flat camera that does not protrude from the body of the mobile phone in the slightest. Which is an absolute rarity these days.
Pixel 10a goes directly against the trend. Most manufacturers, led by Xiaomi or Vivo, are trying to enlarge mobile phone cameras, give them prominent photo modules, and thereby attract customers to the photographic capabilities of their mobile phones. Pixel 10a goes against this trend. Google's video clearly confirms previous leaks that showed the Pixel 10a without a camera module. It does have a black oval around the rear cameras, but it is completely flush with the back of the phone.
The Pixel 10a doesn't innovate much
In terms of features, the Pixel 10a seems to be won't be too different from the Pixel 9aGoogle didn't reveal anything in the video, but previous leaks suggest it will be just a slightly improved Pixel 9a. But that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Google has already shown the presence of Gemini Live and the “Hold for Me” feature in the Phone app, and it also boasts water resistance.
