Xiaomi has prepared an update to its HyperOS 3 superstructure, which will be released in the form of HyperOS 3.1. Testing is coming to an end and will soon begin to spread to the latest Xiaomi, POCO and Redmi models. It includes not only an improved HyperIsland, but also a redesign of the multitasking card display "Stacked Layout". And in my opinion, it is very reminiscent of the style iOS.
The stable update of the Xiaomi system launcher is labeled RELEASE-6.01.05.1993-02021707It contains fixes for bugs found so far and also includes the mentioned new interface for multitasking. It refers to open tabs, between which you can freely switch and open the ones that suit you at the moment as needed. Which was of course possible until now, but now everything will be clearer and more aesthetic. And more in iOS-style.
The update is compatible with Target API 35 (Android 15) and miniThe minimum supported operating system version is Android 14 (API 34). What does this mean? Simply that the new style will be compatible not only with HyperOS 3 or HyperOs 3.1, but also in retrospect with HyperOS 2if the hardware of the device allows it.
Moving between applications will now be smooth and fast. The previous layout in two columns, where applications were arranged in four or six columns, will end, which in my opinion was very confusing and could overwhelm a person. Now the application you want to select will be dominant on the screen. And in my opinion it will look much better.
