Infinix really got things going at the beginning of 2026. It's preparing the Infinix Note 60 Pro, which looks like it was inspired by two competing phones at once - the layout of the photo module is in the style of iPhone The 17 Pro, a playful hardware element, is similar to Nothing's Glyph Matrix. And it's already up for pre-order.
On the back Infinix Note60 Pro we will find Rear Matrix Display. Or a small active area that can display time, notifications, music control and other little things. Unlike the large secondary display Xiaomi 17 Pro It will be more like a smart information label directly in the photo module area. Which I think can be a nice detail that you will like especially in situations where you don't want to turn on and unlock your phone all the time - for example, when you have your phone on the table while working or cooking.
Snapdragon instead of MediaTek
But for me, perhaps an even more important change is the one that took place inside the mobile phone. Infinix has historically been close to MediaTek in the Note series, but this time it is to switch to Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip with 5G. And that's a nice and practical upgrade that you'll appreciate after just a few weeks of use. Stability, power management, and compatibility of some games and applications tend to be more predictable and better with Snapdragon processors.
Other leaks regarding the Infinix Note 60 Pro suggest 6mAh battery a 90W cable chargingInfinix adds something it calls "battery self-healing" - functions that are designed to maintain the battery's condition in the long term (typically better management of charging cycles and protection against unnecessary aging).
The Infinix Note 60 Pro display will be of the type AMOLED with 1,5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, so scrolling and notmacand they will seem very fast. The camera should offer 50MPx main sensor with improved low-light photos. And as a bonus, it should get stereo speakers from JBL, which suggests that Infinix is also targeting people who watch videos and play games on their mobile phones.
Infinix has not yet announced price nor an exact release date. However, it has already launched pre-orders in Nigeria, with which it is offering gifts:
- 20,000 naira (about $14) off your next purchase
- INFINIX 20,000 mAh power bank or INFINIX EAR headphonesBUDS XE33
Judging by how early the teasers and hints of pre-orders have appeared, I expect the full reveal to come before MWC 2026. At the same time, I'm curious if the inspiration iPhonem 17 Pro It goes even further than just choosing a similar camera module and mobile phone color.
